Inokim is a Chinese company making significant strides in its electric scooter technology, focusing on portability.
Their previous release, the INOKIM QUICK 3, put them in the spotlight and was quite popular in the UK because of its unique design, midrange price, folding design, and high-performing acceleration.
The Inokim Quick 4 electric scooter has been designed and upgraded to fit daily commuters. Let’s dive in and see whether (or why) it’s better than the Inokim Quick 3 electric scooter. Please read our guide, see the specifics, and decide for yourself.

Performance
Speed & Acceleration
The Inokim Quick 4 has a 15.5 mph top speed (or 25km/h) with a locked engine. However, users can still unlock the engine through simple commands available on the scooter and achieve far higher speeds. For instance, unlocking the scooter allows you to reach speeds as high as 24 mph on Inokim Quick 4 Super (or 40 km/h).
See the Inokim Quick 4 speed hack from the video below.
Inokim’s unlocked version is quite fast. (Ensure that you take caution and abide by the laws stated by the authorities in your location). The Inokim Quick 4 can go from 0 to 15 mph in under 5 seconds.
Hill Climbing Ability
The Inokim Quick 4 has a strong motor that can easily handle a 15˚ hill climb.
Its 600W motor produces enough power to provide the electric scooter with enough power to provide scooter with enough torque to handle hills that most other scooters find hard to handle.
Battery & Range
The Inokim Quick 4 has 52V and 16Ah (832Wh) for Super and 52V 32 Ah for Hero. The bikes have a rechargeable Samsung battery with a 43-mile range (or 69 KM) for Super and a 36-mile range for Hero. The range increases if you drive the electric motor at slower speeds and on relatively flat terrain.
The Samsung batteries used in the electric scooter are reliable and offer you excellent battery life.
The scooter has a fantastic range (more than most people expected).
While the advertised range is 40 miles, a more realistic range falls between 30 and 35 miles (this is still way more than expected). It means that commuters can rest easy knowing that a fully charged scooter can get them to their location if it’s less than 30 miles.
Brakes
The Inokim Quick 4 has responsive drum brakes (dual) that produce a 3.6-meter stopping distance. Their braking technology and consequent results make this model great and contribute to the scooter’s overall safety.
The brakes are located externally. However, they are clamped to the scooter’s stem to help minimize snagging and other folding difficulties.
The scooter’s brakes are triggered from the cockpit through levers attached to its handlebars. The brakes handle exceptionally well, and have excellent modulation, which means that it would be difficult for the user to skid even if they apply the brakes while they’re at high speeds.
Suspension
The Inokim Quick 4 is widely known for its effective suspension.
The electric scooter’s dual suspension was added to make it more stable. Combining the scooter’s suspension with the 10″ air-filled tires helps to create a smooth ride that retains the comfortable and light feeling you get when you ride on grass.
The scooter’s high-performing suspension system means that you could (at any time) jump onto the scooter and take it for a bit of off-roading. A few issues are that the frame isn’t as sturdy (especially for off-road activities), and you’d have a hard time riding it in rocky terrain and mud.
Inokim Quick 4 Design and Features
Build Quality
The Inokim Quick 4 has a unique and striking build. Most seem to love it, while others aren’t too sure.
Manufacturers carefully considered the design to complement the scooter’s features. The scooter has a great cockpit with advanced, in-built LCD lights, various buttons for controlling lights, power, performance options, etc.
The scooter’s handlebars have a rubber coating for added grip and reduced friction. Everything about the electric scooter helps work towards improving ease of use. Inokim scooter’s electric display works to display calculated metrics that you may find helpful when taking it for a ride.
Is Inokim Quick 4 Waterproof?
Inokim Quick 4 has an IPX4 rating, which means it’s waterproofed against water splashes from all directions.
The electric scooter can resist a low, sustained, water jet spray. However, you should take care not to expose it to water or submerge it unnecessarily since there’s a chance that you may corrode the internal mechanisms.
Portability
The Inokim Quick 4 electric scooter’s primary design focus is on portability.
The scooter has a telescopic collapsible stem that riders can lock in place, foldable handlebars, and an accessible carry handle attached to the electric scooter’s rear fender for easy portability.
The scooter folds to the dimensions 42.9×9.8×22 inches and weighs 46 pounds, which some people consider too heavy for easy portability.
Wheels & Tires
The electric scooter has 10” air-filled tires mounted on split rims with an extra width that supports and cushions all impacts to produce a smooth ride. The tire has an amazing grip that maintains traction on smooth roads and uneven terrain.
The tires make it easy for riders to handle tight turns. They are considerably better than solid tires since they absorb more shock, have a better grip, and produce a smooth ride.
These tires (combined with a good suspension) improve the rider’s experience infinitely (especially when you compare the Inokim Quick 4 to its predecessors).
Deck
The scooter’s deck is 8.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches long.
This design allows for a great riding experience for individuals who weigh more, limiting people with long feet. The scooter’s steering column is also angled backward, which gives riders even less space.
Safety Feature – Park Mode
The Inokim Quick 4’s auto park mode is designed to keep the rider safe.
The scooter enters parking mode when it stays idle for longer than 30 seconds. This action disconnects that scooter’s motor from the throttle, which is excellent because it prevents riders from accidentally engaging the throttle, which could cause an accident.
Ride Quality
The Inokim Quick 4 has a smooth acceleration, folds quickly, and has an adequate range. However, it lacks two things regarding riding quality:
- it has a small deck size
- and is less stable at top speeds.
As mentioned before, the deck is too short to support taller people, and the scooter’s steering column doesn’t help with things either. The scooter’s instability isn’t necessarily a design problem. However, it would be good to address it when designing the Inokim Quick 4’s successor.
Comparisons
Inokim Quick 4 vs OX
Overall, the Inokim OX is a much larger scooter with better ride quality.
The OX has due to the bigger motor a bit higher top speed. The batteries of both scooters have about the same amount of energy capacity. Due to the extra weight, the OX has a bit smaller mileage.
So, if you are a tall guy (over 6′), then Inokim OX would be a much better choice.
If you like the compact design, you can still choose the Quick 4.

Inokim Quick 4 vs Dualtron Mini
Both scooters have the “Mini” in their name. So, both have quite compact designs. Also, the weight is almost the same (47 vs 48 lbs).
But how do they compare in terms of performance?
To be honest, Dualtron Mini crushes the Inokim scooter in almost every category.
Dualtron Mini has a much more powerful motor, better battery, higher top speed, and longer range.
When the Inokim Quick 4 price is about $1,700, the Dualtron Mini costs just $1,500.
